When asked about their personal cannabis use while gambling, 23% stated they would use it less, 50% said their usage would remain the same, and only about 5% mentioned they would use it more. Additionally, 58% believed that their gambling behavior would not be impacted by cannabis consumption, while 25% thought they would gamble more and 18% said they would gamble less.

According to CPI director Riana Durrett, there is a need for collaboration between the Nevada Gaming Control Board and the Cannabis Compliance Board to explore the potential relationship between gaming and cannabis.
